Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 9 passenger rental in Los Angeles — the executive layout with captain’s chairs and a full luggage bay. From $269/day with 300 miles included, five minutes from LAX. Self-drive or chauffeur.
Nine is the size when the group is smaller but the standard still matters — bridal parties, VIP airport runs, client dinners and executive teams who want more personal space per seat than a packed 12. A 9 passenger van rental in Los Angeles puts everyone in a high-roof Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an executive cabin feel and a deeper luggage story than people expect from a “smaller” van. Same rate floor from $269/day as our other passenger Sprinters, five minutes from LAX.
The group is up to nine and you want the executive layout with captain’s chairs and a full luggage bay. Ideal for bridal parties, VIP LAX transfers, smaller corporate teams and client entertainment days across Beverly Hills, Downtown and the Westside.
You have 9–12 people, need luggage space, and expect multi-stop days with street parking or hotel valets. Shorter wheelbase than the 15 and the most-requested size for typical Los Angeles itineraries.
Headcount needs thirteen to fifteen seats, or you want spare seats as overflow luggage. Same rate floor from $269/day. Trade-off: longer wheelbase and a shallower rear bay.
The point of the day is hospitality, not driving — awards nights, winery runs, late-night wedding returns. Ask for a professional driver when you quote; self-drive remains the default on every passenger Sprinter.
Los Angeles rewards groups that arrive together. A 9 seater van rental in Los Angeles keeps an executive team, bridal party or VIP contingent on one schedule — LAX to a Beverly Hills hotel, hotel to a Downtown dinner, Westside meetings without three separate rideshares and a luggage scramble.
Airport days are especially clean for 9 passenger van rental LAX groups. Nine people with carry-ons and a few checked bags fit the executive Sprinter’s seating and trunk story without feeling packed. Our lot is five minutes from the terminals; terminal delivery is $95 each way with 48 hours notice when you send the flight number.
Wedding and corporate days follow the same pattern. Bridal party transport from hotel to venue and the late-night return; client dinners between Century City and Santa Monica; smaller production or agency teams hopping between offices and locations. The 9 passenger size looks intentional — not a party bus, not an overcrowded SUV — and still drives on a standard Class C license.
Passenger Sprinter vans — including the executive 9 — run from $269 to $425 per day depending on dates and demand. Every passenger rate includes 300 miles per day with no mileage radius, so a three-day rental includes 900 miles. Additional miles are $0.25 each. Weekly and monthly rentals carry a reduced daily rate with no maximum length. Cargo and crew cargo vans are $115–$250 per day on the same mileage rules. Rates referenced here match the site pricing page (verified effective 19 July 2026).
The staffed lot is at 204 Hindry Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301 — same zip as SoFi Stadium, about two miles from the stadium gates and roughly five minutes from LAX. Hours are Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–4pm, with after-hours handover 24/7 by appointment for red-eyes and late returns. Delivery to hotels and addresses across Los Angeles County is quoted with your dates; LAX terminal delivery is a flat $95 each way.
A deposit of at least $100 or 25% of the rental (whichever is greater) holds the van. Security holds run $500 for rentals of 1–3 days and $1,000 for 4+ days. Drivers must be 25 or older with a valid license and proof of their own auto insurance that covers a rented Mercedes-Benz Sprinter — we do not sell insurance at the counter.
Three hundred miles a day is generous for a 9-person Los Angeles loop. Inglewood to LAX is negligible. LAX to a Beverly Hills or Santa Monica hotel is a single short run; a full Westside day with meetings, lunch and a dinner still rarely approaches the daily allowance. Palm Springs or Santa Barbara day trips are the runs that start to touch 300 — unlimited miles are available at $75 per day on top of the van rate when you know you will burn past it.
The executive layout is the reason people choose the 9 over squeezing into a smaller people-mover. Captain’s chairs and a high roof make multi-hour days tolerable; the luggage bay handles airport bags without stacking them on laps. If your headcount is eight or nine but everyone has full-size checked bags, say so when you quote — we may pair a cargo Sprinter or recommend the 12 with its deeper rear bay.
Parking is easier than the 15 and comparable to the 12 for most Westside and Downtown surface lots. Height is still a high-roof Mercedes — check garage clearances before committing to an underground hotel lot. For awards nights and late returns, a chauffeur option lets the group stay together without nominating a designated driver.
For firm dates and a clear headcount, book online through our fleet booking app — the Book Online buttons on this page go to https://fleet.legendscarrentals.com/book.php, the same live calendar used across Sprinter Rentals USA and Legends Car & Van Rentals. For weddings, chauffeur requests or multi-stop VIP days, tell us on the booking and include passenger count, luggage notes, pickup preference (lot vs LAX terminal vs hotel) and whether you want a driver.
Same-day and next-day requests are sometimes possible outside peak weekends. Executive 9s are popular for bridal weekends and corporate entertainment — if your date is fixed, reserve early. You can also call or text 888-329-1898 during staffed hours.
Compare sizes before you lock in: the 12 passenger van rental Los Angeles page covers the most-requested group size; the 15 passenger page covers maximum headcount. Vehicle galleries for each size live under /vehicles/ with seating charts and interior photos.
9 passenger van rental Los Angeles demand skews hospitality: people who could squeeze into three rideshares but refuse to, because the point of the day is arriving together looking intentional. The executive Sprinter layout — captain’s chairs, high roof, real luggage bay — is what separates that experience from a packed SUV or a bare cargo conversion with fold-downs.
LAX is the most common first stop. Agents, athletes, bridal parties and board groups land at Tom Bradley or Terminals 1–8 and want the van within minutes, not a distant counter. Our Inglewood lot sits about five minutes east of the airport; terminal delivery at $95 each way puts the Sprinter at the curb when bags clear. From there the same vehicle covers hotel check-in, a Westside lunch and an evening return without changing platforms.
For weddings and awards weeks, the 9 often pairs with a classic car from our sister brand Legends Car & Van Rentals at the same Hindry Ave lot — couple in the convertible, bridal party in the Sprinter. Ask when you quote if you want both on one timeline; we stage handovers so nobody is waiting in the driveway.
